Please Stop - Chris Crocker edits
[edit]Your edits [1] to the Chris Crocker article are a blatant violation of Do No Harm policy. Please read up on WP:Bio. Benjiboi 23:04, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
Second warning
[edit]Your edit[2] again violates do no harm policy. You may not take death threats seriously but wikipedia sure does. If a reliable source to wikipedia's standards verifies this infomation then the issue can be revisited but the subject of the article has had death threats and has worked to retain his anonymity. Another consequence of posting this information is that it might accidentally identify someone as Crocker, in either case wikipedia cannot take the chance that unsrce information may bring harm to someone. Speedy deletion of Misa Campo
[edit]A tag has been placed on Misa Campo, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Okay I'm sending this to everyone who has contributed (or tried) to this article and its previous incarnations. I have plenty of pics of her and I think she's hot, but I don't see her career at the point of sufficient exposure for an article here. Now discuss! Kelvinc (talk) 06:19, 10 January 2008 (UTC)

Cantonese official in Toronto?
[edit]Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Cantonese (linguistics) and List of official languages by state. Although Cantonese is widely spoken in Toronto, there is no source for it being an official language there. Thank you. —Umofomia (talk) 10:59, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Hello, I've removed the liberal Christianity description of the church, as no source was cited. Please furnish the reliable source you're using, so this can be verified before adding it to the article. Thx, JGHowes talk - 20:40, 29 March 2008 (UTC)

Source for Connecticut Fever
[edit]I can't find any sources for this title being confirmed. Please provide one, or I will revert.

- Thanks for replying. Blogs don't count as reliable sources, so we should leave it as Cassie's second album until a reliable source confirms it. Kww (talk) 10:37, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
Soulja Boy
[edit]Sources first please. Current references say Chicago. This shouldn't be changed with promises of sources to come. I'm reverting your unexplained change to the Miley Cyrus article also. --Onorem♠Dil 15:37, 19 June 2008 (UTC)

You haven't sourced ANYTHING on Soulja Boy being "Dance-pop"
[edit]Apparently, you have a not-so subtle history of vandalizing articles on Wikipedia. Soulja Boy is NOT dance-pop. I could find nothing on the net -- at least not from any REPUTABLE sources (other than fans or detractors) to affirm him as a dance-pop artist. And if her WERE, he wouldn't be a NOTABLE dance-pop artist (i.e. -- definitive and/or innovative and/or award-winning). Please stop making this addition until you have reputable sources. Thank you . Love-Guru
[edit]Please stop changing the Love Guru page. Your contribution claiming unanimously negative reviews has been reverted twice. If you continue to add it, we can't really keep the good-faith assumption, it will just be pure vandalism and may eventually result in getting banned. - 24.95.37.27 (talk) 04:19, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
Ban
[edit]As you have been warned repeatedly for vandalism, but yet have made this edit I am blocking you for 72 hours. Nick Dowling (talk) 08:01, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
Please stop adding uncited material
[edit]You have been warned about this multiple times above, and should consider this a final warning. Edits such as this one need a very strong source, and you have been cautioned earlier over changing the genres of musical artists without providing a reference. These edits are basically vandalism, and if they continue you must expect that this account will be blocked for a long period. Nick Dowling (talk) 01:25, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
- As you have continued to add unreferenced claims I have blocked this account for a week. The next block will be permanent. Nick Dowling (talk) 23:59, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Warning -- August 2008
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to 2008 South Ossetia war, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Specifically, you inserted the United States in the Belligerant Column in the infobox. This has been discussed repeatedly in the article's talk discussion page and a concensus has been reached that it is plainly untrue and inaccurate. It may not have been your intention to make a disruptive edit, but this was. Please refraim from doing so in the future. Thank you. croll (talk) 23:04, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
- As this is a continuation of the above behavior you have been warned about and blocked for and the behavior I believe that you were doing from IP accounts, I am blocking this account for a month. Nick Dowling (talk) 23:34, 15 August 2008 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
